Petition to Nokia: Release the Bootloaders!

It is well know that Nokia and Symbian have always been secretive about their source codes.
We want your support to sign this petition for Nokia to release the bootloader!

A bootloader is a small piece of software which has the instuctions for the kernel and where to fetch the other OS files from. This loads even before the actual OS is loaded into memory.

The hardware of Nokia has always been top-notch. In 2011, Nokia released Symbian under a new license and converted to a proprietary model as opposed to an open source project.

So, if Nokia releases the boot loader, it can be edited/configured to have dual boot option for the device. Like when you power the device you get options to choose the OS to boot which can vary from Symbian to Windows to Android.

We need your support for this! Kindly sign the petition at this link.

Thank you for your support. Hope we get sufficient number of signatures and Nokia releases the code soon!
